Writer's Workshop

storm-haven:

Started a little early, so just come join us whenever you’re ready! :D

We’re still open.

Nobody’s shown up, so I’m going to wait another 15 minutes, and if no one else has joined me, I’m just going to close the workshop.

Writer’s Workshop in two hours!

The workshop will be at 1:00 pm Pacific Timezone.

Tell your friends!

We need some more writers to join our group to have a more fruitful workshop.

Bring a short piece and be prepared to read out loud (that means try and get on a computer with a microphone, as we’ll be using tinychat again) and don’t forget to submit your piece to this blog!

And remember: Everyone is welcome!

Would bi-weekly Writer’s Workshops work for everyone?

I feel that having weekly workshops sounds overwhelming, and holding it once a month seems too far apart.

Also, I’m still debating on either holding the Workshops earlier in the day on Friday, since I don’t have class on Fridays, or Saturday afternoons.

Since I’m in the Pacific Timezone, maybe holding it earlier in the day would give us a larger turnout of people.

Writer’s Workshop last night was a mild success.

Only two people showed up, but that’s ok, because we got to share two really great pieces of writing with each other.

I’m planning on doing these workshops on a semi-regular basis, so I need opinions:

Should the Writing Workshops be held weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly?
